About QCS

QCS is a minority woman-owned small business located in the South East Washington DC HUBZone. It was established in 1990 by one of the pioneers of computer simulation, Pat Lightfoot our founder, president and CEO. Her aim was a small manageable consultancy focused on providing IT services to the District of Columbia government.

In its early existence, QCS developed and supported major projects with the Metropolitan Police Department, the Superior Court, SHARE, Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS), the Department of Public Works and the Department of Employment Services (DOES).

Its successes and reputation resulted in its customer base expanding to include the Federal Government, the Department of Army (DoD) and commercial companies.

QCS has now firmly established its capability and expertise as an IT company. It designed and implemented complete turnkey systems, performed site-surveys, designed and installed networks, developed simulators, designed infrastructures, and supported systems' upgrade and conversions, including Y2K preparations. In addition to our expertise, we have access to a wide range of computer and IT professionals available for immediate and timely placement.

QCS is a HUBZone Certified Company and Certified by the District of Columbia as a LSDBE company
